Welcome to Rooted in the Grove (“RTG”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using our website www.rootedinthegrove.com (“Site”) and related services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using this Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and, if registering as a Recovery Professional, possess the appropriate credentials and/or certifications as required by your state or professional body.

3. Description of Services

RTG provides a secure, nationwide platform for Recovery Professionals and clients to connect for virtual sessions, training, and community support. Features include:

• Professional directory and profiles

• Virtual session scheduling and video calls

• On-demand and live training modules

• Secure document sharing and messaging

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information. All activities under your account are your responsibility. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Professional Conduct

All users, including Recovery Professionals and clients, agree to:

• Act respectfully and lawfully

• Maintain client confidentiality and privacy

• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct

• Comply with all applicable laws and professional standards

6. Payment and Fees

Recovery Professionals set their own rates. RTG collects payments on behalf of professionals, retaining a service fee (currently proposed at 25%). All transactions are processed securely. No refunds are guaranteed except as outlined in our Refund Policy.

7. Cancellations and No-Shows

Clients are expected to attend scheduled sessions. Financial penalties may apply for late cancellations or no-shows. Details are provided at booking and may be updated from time to time.

8. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between clients and professionals will be addressed according to our dispute resolution process, which may include Founder review and eSignature agreements. RTG’s decision is final.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including logos, text, graphics, and training materials, is the property of RTG or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

10. Privacy and Data Security

We prioritize your privacy and use Microsoft’s HIPAA-compliant infrastructure for data storage and communications. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

RTG is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or services. Each Recovery Professional is an independent contractor and solely responsible for their services.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
